Mobile Data Now Ltd is a privately held company located in New Zealand


Mobile Data Now was originally released in early 2001 as enterprise middleware to enable staff to gain access to company databases, email and contacts remotely via WAP browsers. It gained some large corporate customers and had a reputation as being extremely reliable. Unfortunately the company had some ups and downs and in early 2006 Nick Bolton acquired Mobile Data Now for $1 and set about re-designing and adding features to enable todays mobile user easy access to their data.

The new Mobile Data Now combines a smooth, easy to use browser interface and smart usable setup and management workflow. The decision to use messaging to access information was an easy one as everyone understands messaging. With a less than impressive experience downloading and running software on mobile devices, we realized messaging was a better way for users to get information.
